Navigating the Healing Stages After Your Brow Procedure

Day 1: Immediately Following Your Initial Procedure

After your initial brow session, you will be both excited and nervous.
The excitement is a result of your new eyebrows, but the nervousness is a result of how they look post-treatment. Don't worry; it's perfectly normal for them to be a bit thicker and extremely dark.
In addition to that, you might experience some redness, slight bleeding, a little bit of pain, and tenderness. These are all normal side effects and will eventually subside as the brow area continues to heal.
Days 2-5 After the Brow Procedure

A few days after the brow procedure, you'll start to notice some scabbing and your brow area will be extremely itchy. It's very important that you do not scratch, pick, or peel the hard, thick scabs - no matter how much you're tempted to. Again, it will slowly subside as the area heals.
In addition to that, the fine hair strokes might be hiding. You'll want to keep the area clean and dry, but you can start applying the ointment on the face carefully with clean hands and a cotton swab to help the healing process.
Only apply a small amount of ointment, though.
Days 7-10 After the Brow Treatment

About a week after the brow treatment, the scab's flake will start to peel on its own. Don't pick or scratch at the scabs. Instead, let them peel when they're ready to peel. When they do, you might notice a patchy eyebrow area as the top layer of pigment starts to disappear.
You'll also notice your eyebrows look much lighter than expected, but this will slowly correct itself as the skin heals. You must be patient.
Days 14-21 After the Microblading Appointment

A few weeks after the initial microblading appointment, your brows will finally be safe from water. You can continue your normal skincare and makeup routines. The eyebrows will likely still look a little light, but they will get darker and more natural near the end of the healing process.
Days 30-40 The End of the Healing Cycle

About a month after your initial appointment, the healing process will come to an end. With the brows completely healed, they'll feel much softer and more natural. The color will look much better, but not perfect yet.
You might see some patches, but these will be corrected.

Important Considerations for Brow Transformation Eligibility

Services offered are not recommended for individuals who any of the following apply to:

👁 Pregnant or nursing.

👁 History of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring.

👁 Diabetic (requires doctor's clearance).

👁 Chemotherapy.

👁 Viral infections and/or diseases.

👁 Epilepsy.

👁 Pacemaker or major heart problems.

👁 Organ transplant.

👁 Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.).

👁 Sick (cold, flu, etc.).

👁 Accutane in the past year.

👁 Had Botox in the past 3 weeks.

👁 Heart conditions, Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure, Poor general health.

👁 Any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the immune system/healing.

Before booking an appointment, please read the following important information.

Booking an appointment means that you agree to the following terms. When booking, please provide a working phone number and email address for confirmation email.

Terms & Policies

A NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE OF $50 will be required when booking an appointment. The booking fee will be subtracted from the total amount of the appointment. The remaining balance will be paid in Cash or Zelle on the appointment day.
You must be 18+ to book.
No extra guests or pets are allowed.
Please arrive at the time of your appointment. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a "no show" and result in forfeiture of your booking fee. Your card on file will be charged for the full amount of your appointment.
RESCHEDULING: You may reschedule your appointment by contacting me up until 48 hours prior to your appointment. If it takes less than 48 hours, rescheduling will require another booking fee. You are allowed to reschedule service appointments only once before another booking fee is required.
PERMANENT MAKEUP IS ALWAYS A TWO-STEP PROCESS: Initial + touch up = complete. While some clients may accept the pigment and heal beautifully without a touch-up, most clients are required to come back for a second session to perfect the tattoo. Healed results vary from person to person. No guarantees can or will be made. It is critical to follow aftercare instructions for optimal results. If you do not follow aftercare instructions, this will lead to poorly healed results. I cannot work on your brows for 6 months after your 6-8 week touch-up.
BOOKING YOUR TOUCH-UP: This session is a separate fee and is not included in the initial session. Please book a touch-up appointment ASAP.
If you already have permanent makeup done by another artist, this is considered a correction. Please book accordingly.
No refunds. All sales are final.
